Merry Christmas

I love Landon's smile in this picture

I love Matthew's smile in this picture.

Matthew with his cousin Eve. They are 4 months apart. She loved to hold on to him, and he wasn't quite sure.

Me & my Sisters and Mom at the Annual Proctor Chocolate party. We all make something to bring to be dipped in chocolate. I love this tradition a little too much. I eat too much of the chocolate.

Me and the boys at the City light exhibit. It was very cold, but we lasted for 45 minutes.

Matthew and Daddy on Christmas Eve.

Matthew and Santa.

Landon and Santa.

Christmas baby.

Landon and I decorated a gingerbread house.

We have had such a fun Christmas, and hate to see it end. Landon keeps asking if Santa is going to come again "tonight" every day. We were able to visit all of our family and have some fun. Landon got to play with all of his cousins (except Caiden). We can't wait for next Christmas! This year has brought some trials and a lot of blessings. We are thankful for them all.

Doesn't he look cute?

Mommy's Little helper

Landon has started helping me empty the dishwasher. He loves to do it. Sometime when he can see into the drawer I guess I'll teach him about how to put them in the drawer in an orderly fashion.

These next pictures are from my phone, so a little fuzzy. I love this one. Landon and Matthew woke up in happy moods, and Landon wanted to rock Matthew in the rocking chair.

Matthew has torticollis/plagiocephaly. Which means he has a shorter muscle in his neck which makes it so he tilts his head to one side and doesn't look 90 degrees in the other. This then causes him to get a flat head. We are happy that our insurance company authorized him to get a helmet. He will wear the helmet for about 2-3 months for 23 hours a day, and after that his head will be normal shaped again. We went to get a cast made of his head so they can make the helmet. He didn't love getting a cast made of his head, but he wasn't too concerned about it. Clint's cousin Leno said Matthew might as well learn to wear a helmet because in about 20 years he'll need one when he plays on BYU's football team.

Happy Thanksgiving

We are very excited for Thanksgiving and some to play with our family and friends. For FHE tonight we made turkey hats.

Do you like it?

They wouldn't look at the camera.

Matthew just woke up. He is usually so happy when he wakes up even when he has a cold and a new tooth coming in.

Landon fell asleep really good on the way home from playing with Grandma Jana. He slept like this for 2 hours. I'm not sure what they did over there, but whatever it is it wore him out.

Landon LOVES the snow. He wants to play in it as much as he can. Unfortunately it melted, or maybe fortunately. I guess it depends on who you are.

Halloween

For family night last week we carved our pumpkin. It was fun, Landon loved seeing our Jack-o-lantern all lit up with the candle. Clint did a good job on his part carving, but as you can tell with my part I got a little to hurried to take out the carved part for one of the eyes and took out the whole thing. :) Oh well.

Of course we had Curious George and the Man in the Yellow Hat. We couldn't get a good picture of both of them together. Landon wasn't in the mood, I guess he just wanted candy.

This is a good picture of Curious George because it was taken weeks ago when I finished the costume and he wasn't aware he was going to get any candy.

Matthew is the cutest Man/Baby in the yellow hat I've ever seen.

He liked Halloween because he got a lot of attention. I guess other people thought he was the cutest man/baby in the yellow hat also.

Landon happy to be home with a full bag of candy in the pantry.

A nice older lady in our ward gave me this outfit/pajamas for Matthew. It is girly, but I had to take a picture of him in it. The tag said it was for boy/girl 3 - 6 months. HA. Pretty much anything that can be for a girl is girly. I still think he looks cute even though he may be a little girly. When he is older and sees this picture I will tell him he only wore it to bed, which is true. :)

Update and some pictures

Brothers

Do you enjoy your hot chocolate as much as Landon?

A little chubby man with a flat cap.

Yep, he really enjoys that hot chocolate.

New Sunday clothes, and the toys he wants to bring to church.

Mom and the boys.

Dad and the boys!

We are doing very well at our house. We got the news yesterday that there is no evidence that the thyroid cancer has spread anywhere. This is very good news especially since I had surgery so long ago. Anyway we are very happy and blessed. These are the pictures of what we've been doing around here lately. Mostly drinking a lot of hot chocolate!

Yep thats PURPLE sand

Landon loves playing in the dirt. Everywhere we go he is looking for dirt. We went to the library a few weeks ago and the line was long, so I took the kids outside and Clint got our books. Landon of course found some dirt to play in right by the door. He was having a great time until we wanted to leave. I decided we should have some kind of dirt at our house. Even though we don't have much of a yard. So, off we went to walmart to get a sand box. They only had colored sand. Landon chose purple, probably because he knew it was my favorite color. They also had blue and green. He has LOVED having a sand box. It is small, but that is good so we can bring it in the house. Any chance he gets he wants to play with the sand. Kind of crazy that it is purple, but it makes it so we can see better where to clean it up. :)

Our conversation from the other day.

Landon: "Mom, what are you doing?"

Me: Making muffins, what are you doing?

Landon: "Oh, just eaten brown sugar."

:)
I love that he did not even think that he shouldn't have climbed up on the bar stool to reach the brown sugar. He loves that brown sugar. :)

Everyone who reads our blog probably knows about my upcoming Radioactive Iodine treatments. I was supposed to be in isolation this week. My Doctor says I'm not ready yet. I will have a blood test again in two weeks and then I should be ready.

August

August is almost over, we can't believe it. Matthew is our little smiler. He smiles so easy. He is a great baby, we love having him in our home.

The other day I decided we needed some fun. So, while Matthew was asleep Landon and I made paper sailboats and a little pond to blow the sailboats across. It only took about 3 seconds for the sailboats to turn into really wet paper, so before I knew it, Landon was getting his feet a little wet.

Then, the next thing I know Landon is going "swimming"

So, I decided if he was going swimming he might as well get his swimming suit on. He had a great time and was very sad when I put the "pool" away. I did move it down to the floor as well.

This past weekend we went up to Island park with all my family. I was bad though, I didn't take one picture. I got 2 videos, one of my nephew William singing zip a dee do da, and one of Clint and Landon riding the 4 wheeler. Landon kept saying we were going to the country to see a real moose. It was funny, he really gets into Curious George. We just missed seeing the real moose, but we saw 2 elk. We had a great time up there, it was nice to get away to the country.

Matthew's blessing

Matthew was blessed this Sunday, and we were pleased that a lot of our family came to see. We had a good Sunday. Matthew looked very cute in his blessing outfit. He screamed during the whole blessing, but we could still hear Clint, so that is good.

Brothers

Eve, with her big smile. It is so easy to get her to smile.

Matthew is starting to smile as well.

We got Landon a Curious George for his birthday. He loves to give it hugs and kisses.

Landon made an airplane with my measuring cups.
