Ho Ho Ho

We are getting ready for Christmas at our house. We went to Temple Square with our cousins. Here is Landon showing off his warm mittens and Jadyn is smiling in the background. We had a great time, but didn't take very many pictures.

Here is Landon practicing being a reindeer. We got a pomegranate, and Landon thoroughly enjoyed it.
We made Christmas trees with ice cream cones. Landon loved making his and then getting to eat it. Matthew ate frosting until we took it away and that was good for him.

Merry Christmas!

Family Vacation

We had the great opportunity to go on vacation with Clints mom and brother and his family (Todd & Vanessa). We had a wonderful time and wish that vacations didn't go by so fast. We went to the beach, Disneyland, & California Adventure. Here are a few of the pictures:

The boys on the airplane. They had fun flying, but I think Landon's favorite part was the moving walkway at the airport.

Matthew is the kid who eats everything. Here he is after he tried some sand.

Landon has been excited for weeks about driving the cars at Disneyland. After the first ride he cried when it ended and said he wanted to go again. I think we rode it 4 times in a row. Good thing there wasn't a line for this ride.

Landon wasn't quite sure about meeting the characters. His cousins were excited to see them all, and we think he took their lead and jumped in to meet them as well. After he met Whinnie the Pooh, he said: "Mom, why do those mans dress up in costumes." He knew they weren't real, but he would want to see them all by himself. Funny boy. Ariel told Landon he was handsome. By the look on his face it seems he was quite taken with her as well.

Right before we left we went to Downtown Disney to look around. Landon saw the giant lego and wanted a picture taken by it. This is his pose that he came up with. We're not really sure where he got that from, but he sure is a silly kid.
We're already planning our next vacation. Too bad we have to save for it. :)

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween from Dash (the Incredibles) and Squirt (Finding Nemo)

We carved pumpkins, and Landon didn't want to touch the pumpkin guts.

But, in the end he and Dad carved a good pumpkin.

Landon likes to be tucked in everywhere when he goes to sleep. He has us put a blanket around his ears so he can't hear. We took both of these pictures in their room with the light off. Funny kid.

He is his Uncle Isaac's nephew. . .

Matthew eating ice cream reminds me of my brother Isaac eating ice cream when he was little. I haven't seen Isaac eat ice cream lately, but I don't think he licks out the bowl anymore.

I better get busy

We are headed to Disneyland next month and if we're going to look like this while we are there I better get sewing.

Our little puppy. . .

This morning Clint took the garbage sack out of the garbage can and put the bag by the back door. He was planning on taking it out with him a few minutes later when he left for a meeting. Meanwhile, I was in the bathroom getting ready for church, and Clint went upstairs for a minute. I hear Clint come back down and ask Matthew what he was doing. Matthew was taking garbage out of the sack and spilled some gravy on the floor. Clint was a little annoyed because Matthew was making a mess, then Clint said "Matthew, what are you, the family dog?" Matthew obviously understand the word dog because he gave a little bark in response to the question. It broke the tension and we all had a good laugh. What a funny little puppy we have. :) He is also good and mooing and roaring like a dinosaur.

We made a recent trip to Wheeler farm. It is fun, entertaining and free which is three of our favorite things. :) Matthew was very tired when we got there, but he loved to look at all the animals.

Landon loved getting on the real tractor.

Clint & Landon & Matthew on the tractor.

Casey, Landon & Matthew posing in a little playhouse.

Can you tell he ate something yummy? I think this time it was hot chocolate.

We had a BYU party with the cousins. We had a great time. Here is Bridger and Matthew. These are both classic looks that I get from both of them. What cute boys.

Cute cousins, Carlie, Matthew, and Jadyn.

Landon got a new shirt. He likes it when people make comments about it. We saw a friend at the store and she didn't say anything about his cool planet shirt, and he was sad.

This is just a funny picture of Matthew. We all feel like this sometimes don't we?

One Handsome Boy!

2 Handsome Boys!

3 Handsome Boys (before the promise of a treat if one of them smiled.)

3 Handsome Boys (after the promise of the treat for a smile)

Landon loves his sand. We bought this at the beginning of the summer. He has spilled so much that he didn't have very much left, so we bought him some more brown sand. He wants to go to the beach.

Matthew loves the sand too, and Landon is good to let him play and not get too upset.

Landon's new smile is the wide mouth frog.

Potty trained!

Landon is officially potty trained, hooray! This is him at the beginning of the potty training.

Here he is after he earned this new toy. He did a great job, and we're all glad he doesn't need those diapers anymore.

This picture doesn't relate to potty training. :) It is a family picture taken of us at my friend Nicole's wedding.

This month has been pretty busy so far. For the past 7 months I (Casey) have been involved with the YW in our ward doing a "Spectacular." When I graduated from high school I didn't think I'd be back on a football field learning a show again. Now I did not perform with them, but I had to be on the field during it so our stake would know where to go. Do you see me in the orange shirt in the middle. :)

For the 4th of July weekend we went to Melba, Idaho to visit Andy & Candice and the girls. We had a great time seeing all (almost) of our cousins. Thanks Candice & Andy!

Landon with his cousins Jadyn, Bridger, and Cameron on the way to the parade.

Landon getting ready for the parade to start.

Daddy & Matthew enjoying the sunshine.

Landon loved their giant sandbox (aka sand volleyball court).

Matthew at the park

We also celebrated Landon's 3rd birthday. He got a tool belt for one of his presents. He really does like it even though it doesn't look like it in this picture.

Matthew trying out the headband that I learned how to make in RS. (Laralee I hope you like this kind, I'm sure it will look a lot cuter on your baby girl, but I guess just pretend you didn't see this.)

Landon with his birthday cake.

Landon loves birthdays and he especially loves his birthday. When I was little we got to pick what was for dinner when it was our birthday, so we have continued that. Landon picked Baked Ziti, corn on the cob and Orange soda. What a good boy. We can't believe he is 3.
